TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver Video Description

Hi guys, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver.

This driver is called the Superfast because it was designed to increase your swing speeds. You can see it has an aerodynamic new shape, and these little ridges here are actually meant to decrease wind resistance. The whole thing is much lighter than their previous drivers. It is actually 14 grams lighter than the Burner 2009, and the it weighs less than 300 grams in total. 283 grams is the weight of this entire club, so it is going to increase your swing speeds, giving you further distance.

The Burner Superfast has a huge face, actually the largest face of any TaylorMade driver ever. This gives you hot ball flights all across the face. It also features Ultra-Thin Wall Technology, which decreases the overall weight of the club, increasing swing speeds, increasing distance.

You can see that it features TaylorMade’s Dual Crown Technology, which lowers the center of gravity, making your trajectories higher and decreasing spin, so you get long, arcing drives.

In addition to the decrease in weight, the overall length of the Burner Superfast is 46.5”. This is about 1.5” longer than most drivers, and .5” longer than the Burner 2009. This makes your whole swing a much longer arc, which allows for time to increase clubhead speed, which provides further distance.

Thanks for watching folks, this was the TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver. Jump on our website, GolfEtail.com, and we’ll give you the best deal on the web. TaylorMade 2010 Players Golf Bag Travel Cover

Posted by Marc @ 11:59 pm

Hi folks, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the TaylorMade 2010 Players Travel Covers.

TaylorMade has a line of accessories called the players series, and this is one of those items. This is the 2010 model. This particular travel cover holds stand and cart bags. We also have one that carries staff sized bags, that is 3” wider, but other than that they are the same dimensions. These bags feature 1680 Denier Ballistic Nylon, which is really tough and durable, it has all sorts of compression straps, and the dimensions on this thing are 59” x 16” x 11”.

One of the first things that you will notice is that this bad boy stands up by itself. The self stand mechanism keeps it upright at a 90* angle. It also has all the features you need for traveling, including the business card holder so you can make sure it is your bag. As we put it down and open it, you will see that there are three external compression straps that keep your stuff locked in, really high quality metal zippers, and the whole thing is nice and padded. There are two internal compression straps, and, what I think is the coolest feature, is this removable head wrap that keeps your clubs nice and protected.

Folks, this was the 2010 TaylorMade Players Travel Cover. We have it in both the Stand/Cart and Staff bag versions, where the staff bag is 3” wider. This thing is nicely padded. I hate to say it, but the baggage folks at the airport are not going to take the best care of your stuff, so why not trust TaylorMade to protect your golf clubs.

Hi this is trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the Callaway 2008 model X-Series Fairway Wood.

As you can see, the X Fairway wood has a slightly oversized head, so it inspires confidence at address, but it still has a really classic look, so it will appeal to traditionalists.

You can see it has the modified X-Sole, which promotes proper contact with the turf, whether it is the fairway or the deep rough.
The X Fairway wood also has a lowered leading edge, which promotes solid contact with the ball, and it also relieves both the tow and heel of the club, so you are not going to get a lot of digging.

Looking at the ferrule here, you can see this club features Callaway’s S2H2, or short, straight, hollow hosel technology, which helps to reduce the weight of the hosel, pushing weight to the perimeters, making it a stable and forgiving club.

Thanks for watching guys, these were the Callaway 2008 Model X-Series Fairway Woods. We have them in both LEFT and RIGHT handed clubs, as well as in a variety of lofts and a variety of shaft flexes, so find the club you are looking for and we will give you a great deal.

Hi folks, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the Callaway uPro Golf GPS.

When you get the uPro in the mail, it is going to come in this nice box, and inside will be the GPS device, a rechargeable lithium ion battery, instruction manuals, headphones for the user videos, a wall charger, and the USB cable.

The uPro is one of the sleekest and most powerful golf GPS’s available. It is just 4” x 2” x .65”, it weighs 3.1oz, and it has this nice, large 2.2” screen that is viewable in direct sunlight.

The thing that sets the Callaway uPro Golf GPS apart from other golf GPS’s is that it uses actual aerial imagery from satellites, so you are seeing actual photographs of the course you are playing. You don’t just get a digital rendering. You can actually see what the hazards look like, what the green looks like, and it is a real photo.

The uPro does not charge any annual fees for Basic Mode, and that gives you a screen view that looks like this. Similar to other GPS devices, it shows you distances to the back, center, and front of the green, from the point on the course where you are standing. If you want what I was talking about, the aerial imagery and the flyovers, then you have to pay a little extra. It is a slam annual fee, and you get all these features, such as Smartview and Anypoint. Anypoint is useful when you want to lay up, where you can actually move the little dot to where you want to hit it to and it will give you the distance to that point. It also gives you distances to the front, middle, and back of each hazard on each hole of the course.

There you have it folks, this was the Callaway uPro Golf GPS. Jump on our website, GolfEtail.com and we’ll give you a great deal. This thing is going to improve your game, because you are going to know exactly what club to choose, so you can hit it close and tap it in.

Callaway 2008 Big Bertha Iron Set Video Review

Posted by Marc @ 11:14 am

Hi folks, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the Callaway Big Bertha 2008 Model Iron Set.

The Big Bertha 2008’s come in 2 different models: The Traditional’s and the normal BB08’s. The difference is that the Traditional’s do not feature the i-brid clubs in the 3,4,and 5 irons. You can see that the i-brid’s have a much wider sole and are going to be a little more forgiving, while the Traditional irons do not have the i-brid’s and have a constant sole width throughout the set.

The BB08’s were designed to provide maximum forgiveness. You can see that they feature a lot of Callaway’s performance technologies, including extreme notch weighting, which moves weight to the perimeters, increasing the Moment of Inertia, resulting in maximum forgiveness. They also feature Callaway’s VFT, or Variable Face Thickness technology, which results in hot ball flights across the face.

You can see that the BB08’s also feature the 360* Undercut Channel in the cavity, which further moves weight to the perimeters, and all the irons feature a nice offset, which helps get the clubface square to the ball at impact.

Thanks for watching folks, these were the Callaway Big Bertha 2008 Irons. If you are looking for a set, first decide whether or not you want the i-brid’s. If you do, go with the Big Bertha 2008’s. If you do not, get the BB08 Traditional’s. Jump on our website, GolfEtail.com and pick we’ll give you a great deal on these clubs. We have them in a variety of flexes and in both hand configurations, so choose the set that works for you and pick it up for a discount!

TaylorMade R11 Sneak Preview!

Check it out: TaylorMade R11 Driver! Looks like it truely is going to be a white Christmas!

TaylorMade R11 Driver

The TaylorMade R11 has not been released yet, and there are very few technical specs on the club, but we can guess that it is going to be a real winner. The white crown is the first thing you notice… a big change from the typical black finish most drivers have. However, the finish is matte, so it doesn’t look like it is going to produce any glare.

The R11 is similar to the various versions of the R9, with the pear-shaped head, deep face, and overall great looks. Like the R9, R9 SuperDeep Tp, etc.. the R11 features MWT (Movable Weight Technology) which allows you to adjust the club’s CG to promote different ball flights, be it a draw, fade, or neutral. The provided weights on the R11 can result in up to 20 yards of side-to-side trajectory change.

It also features FCT (Flight Control Technology), which allows you to adjust the loft of the club, increasing or decreasing the launch angle of your shots. FCT is great in distance control, as it allows you to hit lower, more penetrating shots by decreasing the loft by 1 degree and reducing spin rate up to 500 rpm. Likewise, increasing the loft by 1 degree produces higher arcing shots with more spin.

However, there are some serious design differences aside from the white finish. Notice the “ASP” on the toe if the R11 Driver? It stands for “Adjustable Sole Plate” (Look at the big red triangle in the first picture). This allows you to adjust the face angle of the club, promoting straighter shots by compensating for flaws in your swing. This Adjustable Sole Plate opens or closes the face 2 degrees, promoting the look you want at address, and the ball flight that results from a solid impact.

We can’t wait to see how the TaylorMade R11 performs next year on Tour, and look forward to seeing all the big brands pushing the envelope of design and technology in their golf clubs. Our wish is the same as most golfers: to hit it longer and straighter, and shave strokes off our game, all while having more and more fun. The TaylorMade R11 might be the thing to do it!

The deal requires Furyk to play a TaylorMade driver (he was already playing the TaylorMade Superfast Driver in 2010) and a TaylorMade ball. Jim will also be featured in TaylorMade print and advertising campaigns. He even gets to keep his Srixon irons and Callaway wedges in his bag.

You can also measure distances to different landmarks on the course, whether it be a bunker, a tree, or some other hazard you must carry.

The SG4 is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery that has up to a 12 hour life, so you don’t have to worry about this thing cutting out halfway through your round.

You can see it has a nice large LCD screen with various shades of grey, which allows it to be visible in direct sunlight.

You can download courses at SkyGolf.com, and don’t forget that this device does require an annual membership for a small fee, which is a small price to pay to get direct, precise yardages out there on the golf course.

The SG4 is Certified PreOwned by SkyCaddie, so it is a used device but you can tell it is in great shape, and it actually comes with a 30 day manufacturer’s warranty.
