The Diablo Edge Drivers feature a chemically milled hyperbolic face, which gives you really hot ball flights, so you get great distance.

The Diablo Edge Driver is 460cc’s so you get a lot of power behind the ball. You can see it has the nice Diablo alignment aid. And, the shape is actually aerodynamically engineered so you achieve faster swing speeds, which further increases distance.

Hi guys, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today we are going to be reviewing the TaylorMade R9 Irons, designed to promote distance, forgiveness, consistency, and a great feel.

The R9 Irons feature an innovative shock absorption system in the longer irons, which utilizes a Soft Feel Foam within the cavity, that is then covered with this multi-material badge. And, behind the sweet spot of the face lies a Localized Silicone Shock Absorber which dampens vibrations and provides a really great feel when you strike the ball.

The R9’s feature an ultra thin 2.0mm face that actually wraps around the top line, and it flexes at impact. It is suppose to act like a driver face in that it flexes and gives you great distance. You can see here where it wraps around the top line. This is a nice, thin, hot face.

The R9’s feature a beveled sole on the trailing edge which helps turf interaction and resists digging when you strike the ball. You can see that they are fairly wide, so they have this nice deep cavity as well as the Inverted Cone Technology on the face. So, these are great irons that are really forgiving, and are meant to provide forgiveness, distance, and accuracy.

Thanks for watching guys, these were the TaylorMade R9 Irons. They are going to improve your distance, accuracy, and consistency, while giving you a great feel, so if you are interested in these, jump on our website, GolfEtail.com and we’ll give you a great deal.

Golf theme of 2011: White

Posted by Trevor @ 7:47 pm
Filed under: Uncategorized

As the boys walk around the PGA show talking to all the big brands and seeing what they all have on offer, it looks like there is a common theme: White.

White=Distance?

White=Distance?

You have seen the TaylorMade R11. But did you know that Cobra and even Powerbilt have a white driver coming out? Perhaps the engineers at these golf companies know something we don’t, like our mind’s association with color and distance or something.

Most of these bad boys will not be available to the public until around March, but if this Spring we all start blowing our drives over the back fence of our local range, or see our tee shots disappear into the distance, maybe we will know the reason…

Callaway Lamborghini

Look what some of the boys at the PGA show in Orlando saw inside the Callaway booth: a flipping Lambo!

Callaway X Lamborghini

Callaway X Lamborghini

Callaway and Lamborghini are lab partners this season, partnering to bring us “Forged Composite.” This stuff is claimed to be lighter and stronger than titanium, while delivering faster clubhead speeds.  Currently available in their Diablo Octane driver, the reviews say that forged composite delivers.

What do you think? Would you rather drive a Lamborghini or a Diablo Octane?

Tour Edge Golf Exotics XCG-3 Hybrid Club

Posted by Marc @ 2:31 pm
Filed under: Uncategorized

Hi guys, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 Hybrids.

The XCG-3 went off of the success of the XCG hybrids, and improved it using newer and better materials. You can see it has this nice classic shape, but what they have changed is they’ve sued tungsten on the sole, which lowers and deepens the Center of Gravity (CG) giving you optimal trajectories.

The XCG-3 hybrids feature a Maraging Steel cup face that has been fused to the rest of the club. This decreases weight and increases strength, because the welding process is oftentimes heavy and brittle.

The Maraging Steel face is really thin and produces hot ball flights, and it also decreases, or reduces spin, giving you more penetrating ball flights.

These clubs come stock with Fujikura Motore shafts that were built for Tour Edge’s Exotics line. They are gripped with Golf Pride New Decade grips, which are great grips.

Thanks for watching folks, these were the Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 Hybrids. Jump on our website, GolfEtail.com, and we’ll give you a great deal on these clubs. We have them in both left and right handed, in a variety of shaft flexes, and in lofts ranging from 18*-24*, so find the club you are looking for and we will hook you up! Furthermore, if you join our “Deal Team” email list right there on our home page, you will get good deals, EXCLUSIVE DEALS, emailed right to your inbox weekly, on clubs just like this.

TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver Video Description

Posted by Marc @ 10:00 am
Filed under: Uncategorized

Hi guys, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver.

This driver is called the Superfast because it was designed to increase your swing speeds. You can see it has an aerodynamic new shape, and these little ridges here are actually meant to decrease wind resistance. The whole thing is much lighter than their previous drivers. It is actually 14 grams lighter than the Burner 2009, and the it weighs less than 300 grams in total. 283 grams is the weight of this entire club, so it is going to increase your swing speeds, giving you further distance.

The Burner Superfast has a huge face, actually the largest face of any TaylorMade driver ever. This gives you hot ball flights all across the face. It also features Ultra-Thin Wall Technology, which decreases the overall weight of the club, increasing swing speeds, increasing distance.

You can see that it features TaylorMade’s Dual Crown Technology, which lowers the center of gravity, making your trajectories higher and decreasing spin, so you get long, arcing drives.

In addition to the decrease in weight, the overall length of the Burner Superfast is 46.5”. This is about 1.5” longer than most drivers, and .5” longer than the Burner 2009. This makes your whole swing a much longer arc, which allows for time to increase clubhead speed, which provides further distance.

Thanks for watching folks, this was the TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver. Jump on our website, GolfEtail.com, and we’ll give you the best deal on the web. And, don’t forget, that if you sign up for our “Deal Team” email list, right there on our homepage, you get exclusive offers emailed straight to your inbox, every week!
