Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 Fairway Wood Video Review

Posted by Marc @ 2:15 pm

Hi guys, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and this is the Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 Fairway Wood, which combines a tungsten sole with a titanium cup face and crown to deliver a great fairway wood.
This tungsten sole actually makes up 63% of the total clubhead weight, so you get a really low and deep center of gravity. This helps you get a great launch off all your shots, and it provides for plenty of forgiveness because the weight is here on the perimeters of the club. Even on off-center hits it is going to be stable, and you are going to hit it straighter.
These fairway woods feature variable face thickness, where the outer edge of the face is thinner. This allows for a greater rebound effect, or COR (coefficient of restitution) from more points on the club face.
These woods come stock with these really great Fujikura Exotics Motore shafts. They come in both a standard and Tour edition, where the Tour models have higher bend points to deliver lower ball flights and they have less torque. If you want more specs, jump on Tour Edge’s website.
These clubs also come stock with Golf Pride New Decade Multi-Compound grips which are really tacky and they feel really good.
The XCG-3 Fairway Woods are put together by Tour Edge’s Combo Brazing process, where the pieces are chemically fused together rather than welded. Welds are heavy and tend to be brittle, while the combo brazing process is lightweight, strong, and offers a really great feel when you strike the ball.
Thanks for watching guys, these were the Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 Fairway Woods. Jump on our website, GolfEtail.com, and we’ll give you a great deal.

Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 Driver Video Review

Hi guys, Trevor here with GolfEtail.com. Today I am going to be reviewing the Tour Edge XCG-3 Driver.
The XCG-3 features this amorphous carbon crown, a titanium body and face, and tungsten sole weighting. This really lowers the center of gravity and helps to get a great launch.
This carbon crown actually allows for a lot of the weight to be pushed to the bottom, or sole of the club. There are 28 grams of tungsten weight. Tungsten is a metal that is twice as heavy as steel, so it really brings the CG down and below the ball, gives you a great launch, and it feels good as you are swinging it.
The XCG-3 features Tour Edge’s X-Contour Face Technology, which is a thinning of the face around the perimeters, and this allows for faster ball speeds from more points on the face even the heel and toe.
Tour Edge uses a process called Combo Brazing to fuse the pieces of their clubs together. There are actually no welds, and this decreases weld weight. Welds tend to be heavy. This also improves feel at contact.
The XCG-3’s come stock with really great shafts. These are the Fujikura Motore shafts, built for the Tour Edge Exotics line. It comes in the standard and Tour edition. You can jump on Tour Edge’s website for all the shaft specs, but basically the tour shafts have higher kick points to deliver more penetrating ball flights, and they also feature less torque.
They also come stock with Golf Pride New Decade, my personal favorites, and they are really great.
Thanks for watching guys, these were the Tour Edge XCG-3 Drivers. Jump on our website, GolfEtail.com, find the one you are looking for, and we will give you a great deal. Thanks!

Tour Edge Golf Exotics XCG-3 Hybrid Club

Posted by Marc @ 2:31 pm

Hi guys, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 Hybrids.

The XCG-3 went off of the success of the XCG hybrids, and improved it using newer and better materials. You can see it has this nice classic shape, but what they have changed is they’ve sued tungsten on the sole, which lowers and deepens the Center of Gravity (CG) giving you optimal trajectories.

The XCG-3 hybrids feature a Maraging Steel cup face that has been fused to the rest of the club. This decreases weight and increases strength, because the welding process is oftentimes heavy and brittle.

The Maraging Steel face is really thin and produces hot ball flights, and it also decreases, or reduces spin, giving you more penetrating ball flights.

These clubs come stock with Fujikura Motore shafts that were built for Tour Edge’s Exotics line. They are gripped with Golf Pride New Decade grips, which are great grips.

Thanks for watching folks, these were the Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 Hybrids. Jump on our website, GolfEtail.com, and we’ll give you a great deal on these clubs. We have them in both left and right handed, in a variety of shaft flexes, and in lofts ranging from 18*-24*, so find the club you are looking for and we will hook you up! Furthermore, if you join our “Deal Team” email list right there on our home page, you will get good deals, EXCLUSIVE DEALS, emailed right to your inbox weekly, on clubs just like this.

TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver Video Description

Hi guys, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver.

This driver is called the Superfast because it was designed to increase your swing speeds. You can see it has an aerodynamic new shape, and these little ridges here are actually meant to decrease wind resistance. The whole thing is much lighter than their previous drivers. It is actually 14 grams lighter than the Burner 2009, and the it weighs less than 300 grams in total. 283 grams is the weight of this entire club, so it is going to increase your swing speeds, giving you further distance.

The Burner Superfast has a huge face, actually the largest face of any TaylorMade driver ever. This gives you hot ball flights all across the face. It also features Ultra-Thin Wall Technology, which decreases the overall weight of the club, increasing swing speeds, increasing distance.

You can see that it features TaylorMade’s Dual Crown Technology, which lowers the center of gravity, making your trajectories higher and decreasing spin, so you get long, arcing drives.

In addition to the decrease in weight, the overall length of the Burner Superfast is 46.5”. This is about 1.5” longer than most drivers, and .5” longer than the Burner 2009. This makes your whole swing a much longer arc, which allows for time to increase clubhead speed, which provides further distance.

Thanks for watching folks, this was the TaylorMade Burner Superfast Driver. Jump on our website, GolfEtail.com, and we’ll give you the best deal on the web. And, don’t forget, that if you sign up for our “Deal Team” email list, right there on our homepage, you get exclusive offers emailed straight to your inbox, every week!

TaylorMade 2010 Players Golf Bag Travel Cover

Posted by Marc @ 11:59 pm

Hi folks, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the TaylorMade 2010 Players Travel Covers.

TaylorMade has a line of accessories called the players series, and this is one of those items. This is the 2010 model. This particular travel cover holds stand and cart bags. We also have one that carries staff sized bags, that is 3” wider, but other than that they are the same dimensions. These bags feature 1680 Denier Ballistic Nylon, which is really tough and durable, it has all sorts of compression straps, and the dimensions on this thing are 59” x 16” x 11”.

One of the first things that you will notice is that this bad boy stands up by itself. The self stand mechanism keeps it upright at a 90* angle. It also has all the features you need for traveling, including the business card holder so you can make sure it is your bag. As we put it down and open it, you will see that there are three external compression straps that keep your stuff locked in, really high quality metal zippers, and the whole thing is nice and padded. There are two internal compression straps, and, what I think is the coolest feature, is this removable head wrap that keeps your clubs nice and protected.

Folks, this was the 2010 TaylorMade Players Travel Cover. We have it in both the Stand/Cart and Staff bag versions, where the staff bag is 3” wider. This thing is nicely padded. I hate to say it, but the baggage folks at the airport are not going to take the best care of your stuff, so why not trust TaylorMade to protect your golf clubs.

Callaway 2008 X-Series Fairway Wood Video Review

Hi this is trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the Callaway 2008 model X-Series Fairway Wood.

As you can see, the X Fairway wood has a slightly oversized head, so it inspires confidence at address, but it still has a really classic look, so it will appeal to traditionalists.

You can see it has the modified X-Sole, which promotes proper contact with the turf, whether it is the fairway or the deep rough.
The X Fairway wood also has a lowered leading edge, which promotes solid contact with the ball, and it also relieves both the tow and heel of the club, so you are not going to get a lot of digging.

Looking at the ferrule here, you can see this club features Callaway’s S2H2, or short, straight, hollow hosel technology, which helps to reduce the weight of the hosel, pushing weight to the perimeters, making it a stable and forgiving club.

Thanks for watching guys, these were the Callaway 2008 Model X-Series Fairway Woods. We have them in both LEFT and RIGHT handed clubs, as well as in a variety of lofts and a variety of shaft flexes, so find the club you are looking for and we will give you a great deal.

Callaway Golf uPro Handheld GPS Rangefinder

Hi folks, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the Callaway uPro Golf GPS.

When you get the uPro in the mail, it is going to come in this nice box, and inside will be the GPS device, a rechargeable lithium ion battery, instruction manuals, headphones for the user videos, a wall charger, and the USB cable.

The uPro is one of the sleekest and most powerful golf GPS’s available. It is just 4” x 2” x .65”, it weighs 3.1oz, and it has this nice, large 2.2” screen that is viewable in direct sunlight.

The thing that sets the Callaway uPro Golf GPS apart from other golf GPS’s is that it uses actual aerial imagery from satellites, so you are seeing actual photographs of the course you are playing. You don’t just get a digital rendering. You can actually see what the hazards look like, what the green looks like, and it is a real photo.

The uPro does not charge any annual fees for Basic Mode, and that gives you a screen view that looks like this. Similar to other GPS devices, it shows you distances to the back, center, and front of the green, from the point on the course where you are standing. If you want what I was talking about, the aerial imagery and the flyovers, then you have to pay a little extra. It is a slam annual fee, and you get all these features, such as Smartview and Anypoint. Anypoint is useful when you want to lay up, where you can actually move the little dot to where you want to hit it to and it will give you the distance to that point. It also gives you distances to the front, middle, and back of each hazard on each hole of the course.

There you have it folks, this was the Callaway uPro Golf GPS. Jump on our website, GolfEtail.com and we’ll give you a great deal. This thing is going to improve your game, because you are going to know exactly what club to choose, so you can hit it close and tap it in.
