Tour Edge Golf Exotics XCG-3 Hybrid Club

Hi guys, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today I am going to be reviewing the Tour Edge Exotics XCG-3 Hybrids.

The XCG-3 went off of the success of the XCG hybrids, and improved it using newer and better materials. You can see it has this nice classic shape, but what they have changed is they’ve sued tungsten on the sole, which lowers and deepens the Center of Gravity (CG) giving you optimal trajectories.

The XCG-3 hybrids feature a Maraging Steel cup face that has been fused to the rest of the club. This decreases weight and increases strength, because the welding process is oftentimes heavy and brittle.

The Maraging Steel face is really thin and produces hot ball flights, and it also decreases, or reduces spin, giving you more penetrating ball flights.

These clubs come stock with Fujikura Motore shafts that were built for Tour Edge’s Exotics line. They are gripped with Golf Pride New Decade grips, which are great grips.
