Hi, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com, and today we are going to be talking about the new Adams Idea Pro Gold Hybrid Iron Sets. The Pro Gold Iron Set comes with two hybrids, #3 and #4, and 5-PW Forged Irons.
The Pro Gold Hybrids, first off, come with this really cool, sock-like headcover. They feature Adam’s Boxer Technology, which is a square clubhead as you can see. This helps move weight to the perimeters, giving you a high MOI. This is great for forgiveness on off-center hits. It also features a Maraging Steel face, which is harder than most faces, so the ball springs off the face and you get more distance.
The great thing about the Pro Gold Irons is that they are forged, not cast. So you get a softer club with greater workability, and better feel. They have a thinner top line, thinner sole, so it is a little more of a players club. These things have a slight muscle back, which is a small cavity. So they are not these huge oversized irons, since they are more of a players club for the more accomplished golfer.

So you are getting great shafts that many players prefer, yet they come standard on these irons. These sets also come in a configuration with graphite Matrix Ozik shafts on the hybrids. What you are getting on these irons is really an aftermarket shaft.
