Before we get into reviewing the club, I want to talk about the importance of hybrids. If you are still playing a long iron and haven’t hit a hybrid yet, you are selling yourself short and costing yourself strokes.
Having worked with guys out on the PGA Tour, I can’t tell you how many bags I have seen, with long irons pulled out of, and hybrids put in play. And trust me, if the guys out on Tour are pulling out their long irons, and replacing them with hybrids, think of how much improvement that could do to your game.
One great hint to give you when you think about playing a hybrid is that a lot of folks try to sweep it like a fairway wood. You can’t. You have to hit down on these, and treat them as though they were an iron.
Callaway Heavenwoods come in lofts between 14° and 29° degrees, and that should be able to fill any gaps you have when you pull those hard to hit long irons.
Heavenwoods come with an elongated, compact head, and the C-shaped sole makes it so there is not a lot of club to ground contact, not a lot of area down here that is going to get caught up in the long grass.
As I mentioned before, these clubs come in many different lofts. They are much more versatile than a long iron, much easier to hit out of a bunker and those troubled lies. Don’t sell yourself short. Get some hybrids in the bag and check us out at GolfEtail.com.
This is the Burner Steel Fairway Wood, which was popularized on tour. A lot of the guys on Tour are playing with this fairway wood. It is very forgiving, yet very high-performance, and in our opinion, one of the best fairway woods TaylorMade has made to date. It comes with the Superfast 50 gram shaft, which is really lightweight and helps increase clubhead speed through the impact zone.
More traditional fairway woods like this have a little bit smaller of a head and less of a sweet spot. What TaylorMade did with this is give you more mass and volume in the head, a much larger sweet spot, which is much easier to hit. An off-center hit on this guy are going to give you a lot better result than something of the old classic.
TaylorMade basically took a really classic designed fairway wood and jumboed up the size, and made it super easy to hit. If you haven’t hit one of these and you struggle with your fairway woods, put one of these in your bag, these things will help out your game.

Hi this is Sean with GolfEtail, and today we are reviewing the Nickent 5DX Hybrid. With the new geometry, the weight is pushed to the extreme perimeters of the club. With the new geometry and weighting, the MOI of this club climbs over the 3000 mark, which is very unusual for a hybrid.
You can see there are flared wings on the side, and this helps optimize the COG and this is in part what creates that high MOI. It has a cambered sole and a beveled leading edge that helps get the ball up into the air very easily.
Tungsten weights are embedded in polymer and really help dampen vibration. They also feature the Fujikura Level 5ive 80 gram hybrid shaft.
This hybrid is touted as Nickent’s longest and straightest to date. Jump on GolfEtail.com and check it out, and check out all our other deals as well!
Hi folks, this is Trevor with GolfEtail, and today we are going to be talking about the Nickent 4DX Hybrids. Nickent improved upon their 3DX model by making the face deeper and increasing the COR, or Coefficient of Restitution, which is the springiness of the clubface.
Nickent used their patented Braising technology to fuse the steel sole of the club with the titanium crown, and this dramatically decreased the weight of the club. The crown is actually only .4mm thick.
Because of the weight decrease, this club has a much higher MOI than its predecessors. You can see it has tungsten weight inserts on the back of the club here which lowers the center of gravity and allows you to get the ball up in the air from numerous different lies.
We have them outfitted with the Aldila NV Hybrid shafts, weighing in at 75 grams, and they come in stiff and reg flex.
There you have it. That was the Nickent 4DX Hybrid club. As you can tell it looks, feels, and should play like the Sonartec MD or TaylorMade Rescue Dual, that’s our opinion. It’s a great club. It will help you fill the gap between your fairway woods and your longer irons, like your 2 and 3-iron. Put one in your bag, you wont regret it!
Hi this is Sean with GolfEtail, and today we are reviewing the Callaway X-22 Iron Set. The X-22’s perimeter weighting has given it a 10% increase in MOI from its predecessor. The perimeter weighting makes an ultra-forgiving golf club. That’s why Golf Digest selected it on its “Hot List” as a game improvement iron.
The modified Tru-Bore design dampens vibrations for a much better feel. It features a tour-inspired head, with a slightly thinner top line and sole.
These clubs come with the VFT technology, the Variable Face Thickness, and it allows for a bigger sweet spot in the center of the club.
These are an awesome game improvement iron. Jump online, GolfEtail.com to look further at these as well as our many other deals!

Hi this is Sean with GolfEtail, and today we are going to be doing a review of the TaylorMade Players College Backpack. The backpack is made of a super durable nylon, and has heavy padding on the straps and on the back area, to protect you when you have all those heavy books and computers in here.
It has a heavily padded internal laptop sleeve, multiple other pockets and storage, and a valuables case as well. On the outside of the valuables case is a little port for your iPod earphones. You can keep the iPod in the valuables case and the earphones will come right out there.
The backpack comes with plenty of storage: It has two side pockets, to hold a water bottle, or anything else you need. The storage compartment up front features a key holder, multiple other pockets and accessory holders, pens, and anything a college student would need.
There is a large bungee-secured storage area in the front. You can fit sweaters, sweatshirts, Frisbees, or anything you need in there.
