Callaway X-20 Tour Iron Set Review
Hi guys, this is Trevor with GolfEtail.com and today I am going to be reviewing the Callaway X-20 Tour Irons.
The X-20 Tour’s are characterized by being a more traditional looking iron, yet still featuring some of Callaway’s forgiveness features like this dual notch weighting. But, as you can see, it has a shorter blade than most Callaway’s, similar to their X-Forged Irons. It also has a pretty thin top line, as well as a pretty thin sole. So, it is more of a players iron, yet features some of those forgiving factors.
You can see here that these X-20 Tour’s feature standard bore shaft insertion, rather than what many Callaway’s feature: The bore through, where they cap it.
These clubs are cast out of a 1020 stainless steel, and you can see that they also feature a nice cavity back for forgiveness, as well as the dual notch weighting that brings the weight out to the perimeters for a high MOI, which leads to forgiveness on off-center hits.
